Competition is a contest between indivi
Competition or co-operation which practice should be emphasized for achieving Success

Competition is a contest between individuals, groups, organizations etc., for prestige, recognition, awards or leadership. It arises whenever at least two parties strive for a goal which cannot be shared or which is desired individually but not in sharing and cooperation. Whereas cooperation is an approach where parties work together to achieve a shared objective. The failure is also shared between the parties. In a cooperative situation the goals are so linked that everybody 'sinks or swims' together, while in the competitive situation if one swims, the other must sink. But competition and cooperation are not mutually exclusive, which means one can be competitive while being cooperative. One needs to understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy competition. Also, it is impossible to achieve success in life or career without cooperation. To prepare for life and career, one should learn to cooperate and at the same time learn to compete in a healthy way. Healthy competition makes one to compete by progressing himself/herelf and not by deterring the progress of others. Take for example the case of successful companies such as Microsoft and Google; both these companies are tough competitors. At the same time, these companies cooperate with each other in sharing the space over the world wide web; they cooperate in maintaining discipline by not trying to defame the other. Therefore, best preparation in life and career is learning to be both cooperative and competitive, without being malicious.

After World War II, many regions of Europe were devastated and left to deal with economic and infrastructural problems. In 1947, George Marshall, the United States' Secretary of State, developed a plan called the European Recovery Program, most notably known as the Marshall Plan. This plan allowed the United States to supply aid to countries in Europe that needed it. It also was effective at slowing down economic problems and recessions that might have occurred. The European Union began to prosper as trade was encouraged between countries and the standard of living increased, all because of the Marshall Plan. The Marshall Plan was successful at stopping economic instabilities, by making Europe more prosperous at trade, and most importantly,…

The plays Hamlet and Death of a Salesman have many themes in common, but two of the important themes from both plays are family and love. These two themes are the most prevalent in both plays. Family seems to be the fundamental theme throughout both of these plays; both having parents that want the best for their kids but do not interact with them very much. The love theme is a bit trickier because both do not show it directly, but hint to it throughout their plays, they both have love interests, which distract them from what they are trying to accomplish.…

It can be argued with certainty that there isn’t one best way that intra- and interpersonal perceptions contribute to individual success both at university and later at work. This is because different individuals have different goals and objectives. Individuals are different from each but they have to follow few of the basic principles of the elements and factors like self-monitoring, self-awareness, ethical behavior, Communication skills, Personal development, goal setting. These factors contribute to ones success. . However, similar to a farm, where the same soil generates different fruits and vegetables, these basic approaches to construct an understanding between other people and yourself, there are different ways by which an individual could aim and achieve ones goals and objectives at university and later at work.…
