Corrie Robinson Monologue
I have been immensely fortunate to have had an innumerable number of people in my life who have sparked massive amounts of transformation in my character. Of all of them, though, there is one who turned my life upside down and showed my how to lead in a beautiful, Christ like way. My mentor Corrie Robinson is the most zealous and joyful person I have ever encountered. She sought me out while I was merely an insecure 12 year old girl and led me to the Lord's love in a new way.

I know her. I know what she has experienced in her life. She exemplified perseverance in ways that moved my heart, and she boldly faced the challenges she encountered. Her strength and hope in trials and stressful times is unlike anyone else's. Corrie stretched me by showing me how important it is to keep moving forward at all times. She didn't get caught up in the chaos or stress of her life, she saw it as a mountain to climb and she conquered it. I was in awe of the ways she took charge of a situation and her actions always reflected her love of the Lord, even in the hard tines. Corrie's constant trust in the Lord and ability to remain rooted in Him and her morals even in the hard times lit a fire in me that longed to be the same. I wanted to laugh without fear of the future. I wanted to be clothed in strength and dignity. Because of Corrie's example, I was able to see what that looks like and apply it to my life. Now, I abide in the Lord in my hard times. I fearlessly lead my peers in school, church and yearbook. I am persistent and strong. I am bold. Because of the ways that Corrie lived her life, I was able to see what a Godly woman looks like. The fruits of the spirit are necessary for any leader, and Corrie's application of them to her life was the first time I ever saw the tremendous ways the Lord can use his people to awaken and inspire hearts to lead others to

    Sister Dorothy Last Words

She shows me that other things in life are just as important as others, we need to take the creations we got gifted with from God for granted. Just like her reaching out to get the forest vigorous again, she never gave up and was always looking to God to help her. She was a decisive woman and told everyone that it was possible to get the forest back where it needed to be no matter how challenging it was. I can apply this to my life by not giving up on accomplishments or goals in my life. When I need to reach a high standard I should be constantly thinking about God and asking for his help to help me achieve my goal. It can sometimes be hard to stay positive in our lives, but just like Sister Dorothy we can make things possible with the faith God has given us. She also was a kindhearted woman who didn’t think for herself. Sister Dorothy was a generous woman willing to invite a gentleman to the Amazon. The man didn’t know where to go once he got there and had to make a lot of trips to get to her. She helped him get there and once he saw her, she gave him a rose. I can be more like her by thinking of others and providing them with what they need. Just the small things in life can make someone happy. At the end of the video the gentleman who met her called Sister Dorothy his best friend just from the little time he was with…
