My name is Mai Nguyen and I am an International student from Vietnam. For many semesters, I have been struggling to decide which major would best match my personality. For some historical perspective on my university experiences, I studied in Singapore for 4 years and obtained by BA degree. In completing studies and receiving my degree, I ultimately realized that I hated studying business from the first day in class and wanted something more enjoyable and satisfying to pursue after college. In contemplating what path would bring me the most happiness, I realized that it would be designing the most creative and attractive looks for people – and making them feel great about themselves in the process.
For many years, I have wanted to become a hair stylist . Ai really stands out as the greatest institution offering the valuable real-world training and relationship building potential that I require. I believe that studying in an environment of like-minded and passionate individuals will foster and enable my own creatively unique potential as a world-class chef.
Discovering and choosing a university that fulfills all my needs was a rigorous, but exciting project. I am very glad about the outcome of my efforts and The Art Institutes has clearly emerged as the best choice. After visiting your campus, reading the information pamphlet and researching on the university website, I realized that Ai offers what I hope to gain from my college experience.
