Ultimately it is the role of the school to deliver changes that are implemented by national policies through; teaching methods, the support offered to children and families and overall provisions. An example of a policy change which required schools to implement a number of big changes was the Childrenâ€TMs Act 2004 which was based on Every Child Matters report. Schools are expected to accomplish the 5 outcomes set by the Every Child Matters report; be safe, be healthy, enjoy and achieve, achieve economic well-being and make a positive contribution to society.
