Ddm Personal Statement Examples
After hearing that a family friend had attended GSDM and subsequently graduated to become a teacher there, I've only heard good things about the school. This has made me extremely interested in the school. I undoubtedly admire the clinical practice, the dental school faculty, and the overall GSDM culture and vision. The clinical practice is outstanding and it will provide me with unmatchable experience to develop my capabilities as a general practitioner of dentistry – a dream I had aspired for ever since I was a child. I believe GSDM will give me a unique experience that no other school can.

Without a doubt, dental school is no ride in the park. Which is why I am reassured to know that the GSDM dental faculty will be extremely supportive in helping me reach my goals. This in combination with the collaborative environment of the GSDM culture, I am certain that the DMD program will build on my character, open opportunities for friendships and develop myself as a dentist all the while challenging myself every step of the way.

GSDM is unique in allowing clinical and hands-on learning during the first year, which is an aspect of the program that interests me most as a student. It excites me knowing that I will be able to fully experience the dental practice by interacting with patients right in my first year of school. I believe that being able to have hands-on experience during my first year in the dental program will help me succeed in my education and allow me to excel in dental practice.
These are a few of many reasons to why I should apply to GSDM. It would be a mistake not to apply to GSDM with all the wonderful benefits this school has to offer to myself as an aspiring

I have learned a lot just by observing the steps and seeing what kinds of instruments were involved. In applying for UB Dental Clinical Observation Program, I am looking for an opportunity to expand my knowledge and experience in a field that I strongly feel passionate about. The Clinical Observation Program will help me accurately understand the dynamics and responsibilities that this…

Although the majority of medical school will place an unbalanced emphasis on the science instruction and USLME preparation, after reading SKMC website, I learned that the SKMC will provide well-distributed education including professional development. Among many physicians that I shadowed during the pre-med program, great physicians who I admired had great professional qualities like compassionate, communicative, and collaborative skills, which are also highly valued in SKMC. As medicine is rapidly changing to prevention-focused care, physicians have to collaborate with not only nurses but also physician’s assistance, social workers, pharmacists and nutritionists. To do this effectively and efficiently, I strongly believe that SKMC’s well-rounded curriculum will help me to improve those qualities, and for these reasons, Sidney Kimmel Medical College is my top…

Seeing the satisfied smile of the patients and respectfulness of my father as health care provider, it gradually set into my mind and became apparent that one day I wanted to become a health care provider as well. I have often been asked why I want to pursue a new career in dentistry, having already trained to be an acupuncturist. While this transition seems unusual to many, for me, it has been a very natural progression. Looking back over the years, I can see how this development occurred…

Interviewing is considered by many people to be an art. As an adolescent, I never had the chance to interview someone before and it really made me have to expose myself to the world outside of my comfort zone. Being only eighteen years old, I wanted to explore my future career path a little more in depth from somebody who knows the field. I chose to do my interview on someone I admired off campus who works in my field of interest. As a freshman in college, most students don’t know which direction they want to go in, most of them are undeclared. Upon entering CCSU this fall I, too, was undeclared; however, very recently I discovered that I wanted to work in the field of dentistry. I noted that I wanted to talk to an expert, somebody who had been in the field for many years so I could get a concrete grasp on what a day-in-the-life was like. I decided that I wanted to know more on the field and conducted an interview with Lyudmila Adamitskaya, a dental hygienist at Smiles for the Future - a pediatric dentist office in Glastonbury, CT.…
