Death Penalty Is Dead Wrong: It’s Time to Outlaw Capital Punishment In America-Completely, written by Mario M. Cuomo, the former governor of New York, is about Cuomo’s viewpoint in which he states that the death penalty is wrong on several different levels and that it is an ineffective form of punishment. In this text it describes a personal opinion of a man whose important part of his life was focused on the basics of the death penalty. Generally, he disagreed with all common reasons that justify society’s approach towards the human life and goes on to describe that our society is going to keep falling apart if we do not solve this problem. It is hard to control your anger and not want revenge for a person that has done something bad to someone that is close to you. According to researches from the University in Australia, instead of helping you move on with your life, revenge can leave you dwelling on the situation and remaining unhappy. Anger is just a natural response to what the mind imagines and is often a person's’ first response. The power is to stay reasonable in those moments, because most of the time first thing that we want to do is not the right response. In life a lot of things will seems unfair and for a many situations we will not be prepared, but that does not mean that gives us a reason to blame someone else for that. Specifically, from Cuomo’s text that does not allow us to decide about someone’s life. We need to strive to look at things from another perspective and always keep in mind that everyone’s life is equal, no matter how much in some situations it may not seems like
