Dental Hygienist The career field that I am interested in is a dental hygienist. I am interested in this career field because I want to help people stay hygiene and have clean teeth. Dental hygienist has certain working conditions, post-secondary degree, and an average annual salary. Dental hygienist working conditions consist of wearing surgical masks, gloves to protect themselves and patients from diseases, and interacting with the patient. In this career field the type of work done is removing of tartar, stains, plaque from teeth, apply fluorides, take dental x-rays, educate patients about good hygiene techniques, etc. Dental hygienist personal qualities that are needed: patient, understanding, positive attitude, friendly, and passionate.
