The fans crowd into the front row just to get a handshake or a glimpse from the players. I am tackled into the railing from the force of pushing fans. The security guards herd the fans back to their original seats and the second half begins—the crowd getting even more pumped up from the closeness of the game. The players wave at the fans, rallying them up for the fourth quarter. Cheerleaders shake their pom poms, kick their legs, and cheer for the players and fans. The cameraman rolls through the sidelines on a specialized cart at a frantic pace, trying to capture every play. The stands continue to explode with almost record breaking decibel points. Because of the deafening roar of the crowd, the center is unable to hear the cadence, and the quarterback does not get the ball snapped in time. They are forced to give up the football and punt.
It is the Chief’s last drive of the game—they get a first down and kneel the ball for the win. Everyone is crazy because the win creates a Chief’s four game winning streak. Fans jump to the first row trying to get gloves and autographs, throwing and pushing me once again into the railing. We finally manage to escape the crowds and I leave the stadium full of excitement and an exhilarating rush from my experience at the
