When she called me back she said that she was holding her sick grandson who was coughing and he had relief only while she held him on her shoulder in the recliner. That is the reason she could not get to the phone when I called, or pick up her cigarette and her drink; the way she described while she didn’t pick up the phone.
When I told her that she will be receiving a phone call to schedule her sleep study, she told me that she had several of those done already. I don’t think that she will schedule with neuro diagnostic although I could not find out when and where did she had those done.
Dianna told me that
her previous pain doctor is unaware of the fact that she has Dr. Cosijns as her new pain doctor. She had signed an opioid agreement with her previous doctor.
She does not know how to find a PCP. I told her to call her insurance company and ask for a list of contracted providers. She is hesitant because apparently they are keep sending her back to the same building her pain doctor is practicing at. (?)
Dianna does not want to get her blood work done because her previous pain doctor had her do blood work and they marked of a “bunch of stuff” on the order form, therefore she doesn’t feel like she should get it done. Also it is hard to find one of those places that do blood work.
I did not bring up the fact that she needs to follow-up with a mental health professional.
Dianna is keep asking while can’t Dr. C act as her PCP. I already explained it to her twice and so did Dr. C once over the phone.
