Differences Between Baby Boomers And Millennials

Throughout recent events, there have been many debates between the different generations. As newer generations come, it causes tension since there are so many differences between them. The main generations that have conflict would be the Baby Boomers and the Millennials. A Baby Boomer is considered someone that was born between 1946 and 1964; the Millennials is someone that is born between 1980 and 2000. The main three reasons why these generations differ so much would be how they were raised, how education was for both, and in the work field.
One of the main reasons that the Baby boomers and Millennials clash so much is how both generations were brought up. Everyone’s lifestyle is different, that determines how someone would most likely be when he or she reaches adulthood. The Baby Boomers were raised during many events that changed history such as the Civil Rights movement, the Vietnam War, and also the Cold War. These events taught the Baby Boomers to be strong, very independent, and ambitious. On the other hand, the Millennials grew up with Digital Media, School shootings, and 9/11 terrorists attacks. The Millennials build very sheltered than any other generation, being protected from the evils of the world.
With no education, you will be very limited at life in general. To Baby Boomers having an education was a birthright, where higher education was the ticket out of the blue collar and to better their future. This generation is considered as “hungry minds”, their main goal is to succeed and better than the next one. Different from Millennials and education was an incredible expense. Educational wise, Millennials have to be engaged in their learning, if there is no technology involved they will go somewhere else where there will be nontraditional approaches to satisfy their needs in order to
