After Graduate School, I hope to have my PhD in psychology or my doctorate in psychiatry. I would like to start out working in jails, talking to criminals and analyzing their brains versus the brain of an average adult to study how the brain reacts with criminal activity and why they do and feel what they do. I have heard that a person can not do that type of work for very long because it is emotionally tasking so after that, I would like to open my own counseling practice up. I would do either marriage and family therapy or focus on teenage depression. Eventually, I would like to retire into school psychology or become a psychology teacher. Also, if I ever have enough money, I will buy a house devoted to taking in stray animals…
My professional goal is to become a teacher with hard work and dedication I know I can reach my lifetime goal. For my extra-curricular activities, I have attended the Head Start at Brookhaven Community College where I have volunteered over thirty hours in a semester to get myself prepared for the profession. Going to the local Head Start gave me the opportunity to see if this is really what I want to do for many years. I put myself in a position where I actually enjoyed what I was doing, I had patience which a lot of people don’t have to teach younger kids. I worked with three to five years old, I had to show them I was the leader. In my four years of High School, I have taken my time out to be a leader in my school. I was vice-president freshman…
When it comes to my education my short-term goal is to finish out this school year and maintain my current GPA. I find it easier to motivate myself each day if I have set in stone grade goals in mind. My long-term education goal is to finish my Associate of Applied Business degree in spring 2017 and my Associate of Arts degree in spring of 2018. I have enough classes and credit hours to finish a second associate degree in two part-time semesters. My short term career goal is to continue where I am until I graduate and learn as much as I can from those around me. I find that the people around me at my current jobs are very intelligent and it would be wasteful of me to not learn what I can from them before I move on. My long-term career goal…

I want to be staff because, I want to show people I can handle the responsibility of doing something on a server like this. I also want to be staff, because every day I see people get treated badly because they are a low rank, and no one will believe them/help them. I want too help these players, so they stay on the server to help expand it. Also, so these people can leave the server joyful every time they play , because they got treated squarely, I see lots of people that scam on the server, so I can proclaim in chat the after-effects of someone scamming, and what to watch out for, so you can avoid get scammed. I could make people feel more delighted when they arrive on the server and are befuddled on what to do; I don't like favoritism also.…
For this assignment, I interviewed a friend her later 30's of identifies as a lesbian women. In the interview I asked her to discuss some of her thoughts, feelings and experiences related to her work and career. Our interview started with a key question faced by many GLBTQ individuals when it comes to their work life - Is 'coming out' at work a good idea? She reflected on an early experience of hers when she was about 18 and starting a new job. She said that it was not obvious that she was lesbian, so she decided at that time she wasn't going to discuss it since she had a strong conviction that straight people don't have to 'come out.' However, she was unsure if she were to be asked by her employer or fellow co-workers, if she should (or would) tell them. The company she was working at during that time was very big, as she describes, and she felt there were bound to be homophobic people there. She debated whether she should just risk it; or, should she just stay in the closet? At the time, she says she was 'out' to all of her friends and that her familly even knew she had a girlfriend.…
I have three personal long term SMART goals that I am working on to improve myself professionally and develop my leadership skills. My very first goal is to complete school and get my Master’s degree. I have been using all my free time to study and weekends to work on quizzes. This is achievable by continuing my studies at Western Governors University. With a Masters I will be able to move up within my company or any other company into a management position. I did change my degree plan, so now my graduation date has been set back by a year and I will be graduation in 2018. My second long term goal is to completed my VMWare certifications. I would like to be certified in the data center virtualization certification and have been reviewing videos and free labs provided by VMWare learning about their product. This is very achievable because of the free labs that are available along with the fact that I use the product on a daily basis. It is relevant to my goals because it is a product that many companies are using for their infrastructure. My plan is to be certified by the beginning of 2017. My third goal is to retire by the age of 50. For the past 20 years I have been aggressively saving money in a 401k, and for the last 7 years I have been…
“I’m coming back with a vengeance I’ve never seen before and with the confidence and security that will put my negativity to rest”. For so long I allowed myself to be my own enemy. I was constantly telling myself that “I can’t do this and I’m not worth that”. With everyone else around me telling me about all this potential and talent inside of me that needs to get out, I found my mind in a tangle of disbelief. I limited myself, by limiting my abilities. On January 30, 2013, I received the most amazing news in my whole life from my Doctor that changed my perceptive of my life and my goals and I have God to thank for that. With saying that, my goals in the next ten to fifteen years consist of: owning my own financial consulting firm, owing numerous residential and commercial properties and leading several non-profit organizations.…

The first I have to do is to finish this school. After it there I would like to study The University of Economics or Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University. Rather I would like to study the University of Economics, because after finishing it I would have two qualifications, computer specialist and engineer of economy. The second school is very good too, because I would have a complex overview in computers. During the studies I would like to join some exchange program for students and study few months abroad. It would be absolutely perfect, because of get some experience with foreign circumstances. Next aim I would like to achieve is to learn fluently French and German. It’s necessary, because we are surrounded by German speaking countries and the official language in the European Union is the French.…
My philosophy as a teacher is that the child needs to come first. To say that the only thing that matters in the classroom is my teaching lesson, is to ignore the many situations that students face each day before they walk through the classroom door. The classroom is the place to provide instruction, but it should also be an environment where students feel safe to share experiences, to ask questions, and to feel respected by their teacher(s) as well as their peers. It is my job as an educator to serve as a positive role model, facilitator, and listener to ensure success in their learning environment.…
