1. Describe what your experience of facilitating a family session was like for you;

a. What did you feel you did well? Explain why and give examples.

I felt that, there were some skills that I used appropriately for a family service worker while facilitating the snow family. I felt that I introduced myself appropriately as a family service worker to the family and was confident and warm in speaking. Even though I did not elaborated more on the confidentiality, I asked for the checkout after the confidentiality to make sure that they understand the purpose of the confidentiality and if they have any clarification; which they mentioned they understood. I also explained about the things that would cover in the session such as doing an

For example, when every family member mentioned about their difficulties within the family and the issue with Mable, I paraphrased the important things that every member mentioned and added the checkout. I said that, faith, you mentioned that you are frustrated with the Mable. Is that right? This paraphrase had helped them to have believed that I am interested and am very attending to their issue. I could do better in the future session on confidentiality as I will learn and practice the confidentiality part before I come to the counseling session and mention it slowly and confidentially. One of the important things that a facilitator should do was to mention was about the time duration of the meeting. I unfortunately did not mentioned how long the session would last which could have negative impact on the family members as they would be unsure of how long the session would be and might show concern about the time in the mid stage of the counseling. This would be distractive both for the counselor and to the family members. So in order to avoid this in the future I would remember in my memory to mention about the time duration and would mention in the beginning of the introduction. While the session continued and reached where the family was talking about the dynamics about the family, I seemed to spoke fast which would made the family members to think that I was nervous. This could have
