The real name of the Author Stephen King is Stephen Edwin King; Stephen King comes from Scot-Irish descendants. He was born in Maine in 1947. His parents were Donald and Nellie Ruth Pillsbury King. He and his brother were raised by his mother after their parents got divorced. He lived in Fort Wayne, Stratford and Connecticut during his early childhood. However, once King was eleven, his mother, his brother and him moved to Durham. King went to a grammar school in Durham, after that, he graduated in Lisbon Falls High school in 1966.
