Kalanick has a high self-esteem. The description of his experience in business and leadership prove his level of self-esteem in different ways. First since he was at high school, Kalanick shone how he love unconventional jobs. He started by selling knives door-to-door and raning track and specializing in the long jump. In addition, Kalanick was able to handle failure and not to give up. For instance, the bankrupt of Scour in 2000 did not prevent Kalanick to initiate other business activities. Even if the scars of his bankrupt affected him for years, he was able to handle failure better and in 2001 to co found the Red Swoosh as a revenge business. Finally, Kalanick is characterized by the ability to take risks. As an entrepreneur, he is open to take risk of starting a new business. Even if his project are straggling (by bankrupt as Scour, selling Red Swoosh and problem with authority, he took the risk of staring Uber.

For instance, in January 2017, Uber lose about 200,000 customers in a single weekend and consequently, his income decreased during that period. In addition, the unethical behaviors could be a consequence of workplace stress at Uber. For example, Uber is accused to perpetrate sexual harassment. For instance, the case of Susan Fowler who was victim of harassment and gender bias can illustrate that unethical behaviors. Also, the incapacity of human resource service to take into consideration her complaints (because the author of the harassment is a high level,) could elucidate the consequences of stress.
