Donald Trump's Tax Proposal
wouldn't affect many people. The rich would pay more, but taxes would basically stay the way they are.
On the other hand, Donald Trump and his tax proposal would have a direct injection into everyone's paychecks. With his tax plans, the government would not be capable of funding most services it does today. The ACA would no longer exist, Social Security would have to become privatized, and there would be less money for the government to use. Lastly, in order to fund Sanders's proposals, tax rates for everyone had to go up. To decrease poverty levels, the wealthy would have to pay a larger share. As a result, the wealth would be redistributed in America. The benefits from his taxation would include better healthcare and Social Security. Four-year

Slowly, he has become more liberal since his announcement to run for president. The racist and sexist rhetoric made people vote for him, but that behavior can not be tolerated in the Oval office. Currently, he claims all of his prior policies were suggestions. The uncertainty he brings to the White House is better than someone with a scandalous nature. Its a toss up between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, but he has a slight edge on her. His next move is unknown, but if continues down his current path, soon, he will become more liberal than Hillary Clinton. Today, he is better for the American people, but at any moment, that can …show more content…
Donald Trump has said racist and sexist remarks throughout his campaign, and if he becomes president, nobody knows what he will do. Hillary Clinton has been the face of to many scandals for people to see her as electable. As Donald Trump becomes more stable, the people will think of him as better than Clinton. He's beginning to become more of a candidate, and Hillary needs to find a way to impact America. According to CBS News, “compared to frontrunners in previous presidential primary races, Trump and Clinton's unfavorable ratings (57 percent and 52 percent respectively) are the highest in CBS News/New York Times Polls going back to 1984, when CBS began asking this question” (Salvanto). The only negative Bernie Sanders has is calling himself a democratic

Bernie Sanders has a long history for standing up for civil rights as well as minority rights. But he has more recently been recognized for his contribution to the civil rights movement, as a participant in Martin Luther King Jr.’s March on Washington in 1963 and as leader of protests to demand fair housing at the University of Chicago (Wellman). American civil rights activist, Alfred Sharpton once mentioned that if “you were not getting arrested during the 1960s in America, [I] would have to question your leadership around racial justice issues” (Harris). While Sanders was volunteering with the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE), Hillary Clinton was volunteering with Barry Goldwater who voted against the Civil Rights Act (Harris). This may not seem relevant anymore, since Sanders is no longer in the running for President; but it is to me.…

Sanders strongly believes that everyone deserves to receive an affordable, high-quality education. He has sponsored bills to make public to make all public colleges tuition free. Not only does he believe that too many resources are wasted on over-incarnation and unlawful arrests, he also is an advocate for police reform, as well as the demilitarization of America’s police forces. He is also a major supporter of making the minimum wage a living wage. While the cost of living has skyrocketed workers’ wages haven’t changed much, and he believes that people working forty hours a week for minimum wage should not being living in poverty. Sanders has before stated that we are a “nation of immigrants” and wants to reform the immigration policy to create an obtainable path to citizenship.…

This could lead to a high rise in other taxes in order to match what they would previously gain from federal taxes. The money paid as income tax contributes back into the states and nation. Infrastructure such as highways, schools, and roads are dependent on federal funding as so is Social Security, Medicare, hospital insurance, unemployment insurance, military and law enforcement, and national defense. Once the tax is abolished the whole country would immediately feel the impact. It would be impossible to pay of national debt. Even though nobody enjoys paying taxes it does benefit us in ways we may not recognize. There could be improvements but federal taxes should not be removed as a whole; it could lead to government shutdown, national bankruptcy, and chaos within the streets. This tax is necessary even though it might seem evil to us. It benefits the needy greatly in America and those who cannot help themselves. It is a strong catalyst of cash flow in our economy and improvement of our…

As Barack Obama’s second term presidency comes to an end, a new chapter begins for America with a new president. One of the most powerful presidential candidate running is Bernie Sanders. According to Sanders, America is suffering from a lack of infrastructure, low minimum wages, and just an overall crippled system that denotes the inequality in Americans. He can implement so many injections and programs to alleviate the tensions that is widening the gap between the rich and the poor and even males and females each and every day. The solution to him is easy: create more jobs to drive GDP up and spur economic growth, raise minimum wage, and restore Democracy back to its full extent.…

This Presidential ticket is widely considered the worst in United States history. Many people are criticizing almost everything either candidate does. One one side you have a bigoted racist in Trump. On the other side, and marginally considered the better candidate of the two main parties is an untrustworthy, criminal in Clinton. What other options do you have? None, until you you look at the Libertarian candidate, Gary Johnson. I believe that, although unlikely, he has a chance to win. He would be a better president than Trump or Clinton because his stances on economics, immigration, and foreign policy make sense and would improve the U.S security and economy overall.…

The flat tax will make taxes fair for all people. No matter what race a person is, what social class a person is in, or who they're friends with, they will end up paying the same rate. Every single taxpayer will have to sacrifice just as much of his or her life as the next person down the road. One of the three main reasons for taxes is to maintain fairness. This is most reasonable ways to maintain fairness. The wealthy will still be paying more money than the poor person, but they both have the same tax burden.…

Middle class and poverty level households, will be able to make six dollars and twenty five cents more an hour, assuming it's a forty hour full time job at minimum wage they would make six hundred dollars week. They would be making nearly double to that of New York state's current minimum wage level of eight dollars and seventy five cents an hour at forty hours a week.
