In the film Generation Like (2014), it showed businesses track our data through our likes on social medias and how businesses use Youtube starts as their new advertisement. However, I am pretty indecisive about social media being a true reflection of an individual understanding of themselves. This is because there are social media users who are different online and in person. For me, I think my social media “self” is a true reflection of who I understand myself to be. I would share relatable statuses and post my pictures and statuses of important or fun events going on in my life. I am pretty conservative and private with my life as well so, I do not always post what I am doing online or what I like. I am the same person you will interact with on social media as I am in real
