According to the article, Educational gaming is catching on, especially in science class, by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the purpose of this is to save a lake in Wisconsin from recurring pollution. To skirt this environmental crisis, users must do digital game stunts, and travel through time, or even talk to animals. Robert Bohanan, an outreach program manager, imitates lake ecosystems and reaches more students than he could with usual teaching materials. A couple years ago, many teachers deflected the ability to see the role of digital games in education. Now, however, it seems that the teachers are opening up to the idea. Even though specialists are still gathering enough evidence about how effective gaming will be, there are quite a few studies that hint at the potential of these games being able to help students learn science, and not just to memorize

The Air Force calls them Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, or simply UVAs. There are dozens of them flying over countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq, providing intelligence and surveillance. Since September 11, 2001, the US has been fighting the “War on Terror”, in which drones are used to kill suspected terrorists. Drones have changed the pattern of warfare and military outcomes.…

Some say that the United States should detain terrorists, or that the US could easily leave terrorists alone. By detaining terrorists the US could not only prevent more death but also get information out of terrorists. That idea in theory sounds tremendous, but sadly it is a pipe dream. Detaining terrorists not only puts our forces at risks but simply does the US no good. With places like Guantanamo Bay being essentially stripped down, there is no means to interrogate captured terrorists (Byman 32-43). Some people will also argue that Middle Eastern governments should take care of their own terrorist problems, and that the US should stay out of the conflict. Unfortunately, this is not an option either. Asking the local government militaries is far more bloody. They often torture and…

This question has been asked by over a million people around the world: what technological invention could change the world for the better? An invention like the drone-a robot that can fly-may just be the answer. Drones were invented in the 90’s particularly in the 1980’s and it was first invented as a precursor of the modern day cruise missile. Like a car a drone has both military and daily uses. I believe that drones can benefit the world by reducing poverty, making differences in countries like Africa and elsewhere, and by serving as a universal gadget that can lead to innovation and insight.…

I would oppose the use of drones in warfare. Drones are a creative thing and have a feature comparing to other kind of air force weapons to fight. The United States used them from long time ago. According to “ Invasion of the Drones” by Hugh Westrup, “ A curious-looking slammed next to an elementary school” ( Source A). Drones at the same time were a horrible thing because they are the reason of someone’s death, even kids that are innocent and attending the school. Drones could crush buildings at any time without the control even it’s an elementary school because it has a software program and actually no one could manage it when glitches are happening. Proved that, people are managing the drones and speeding them by its software system which it’s…

It’s a bird, no it’s a plane, no it’s probably actually a drone bot. Forty-two percent of people in the U.S. completely disapprove of the personal use of drones, according to a poll done in 2014. While that is for personal drone use the poll also represents a section for drone use in oversea warfare. Now you might think, oh yeah drones would be a major advantage in the war on terrorism, and if you agree you're agreeing with 85 percent of people in this poll. However, we still have some people saying that having the advantage of drones would not be a good thing, now why would that be? Drone strikes not only put fear into the people of countries that are being monitored, but they are also highly likely to take casualties of war and possibly not get the target at all. On the contrary drones save lives of our soldiers, and shouldn't we be thinking of our loved ones out there?…
