What is your company 's history?
Einstein Bros Bagels was created in 1995 by the restaurant corporation Boston Chicken which is now called Boston Market. In 1997 they opened their 500th location and became the largest retail bagel company in the nation. As of right now there are more than 300 Einstein Bros locations in 27 states.
What is your product?
Einstein Bros is known for their freshly baked products such as bagels. However, they also sell sandwiches, salads, and coffee.

Why would your target market want to buy your product?
The target market would want to buy Einstein’s products because it is affordable and satisfying. Even though the food is quick and fast and it doesn’t taste like it. Environmental Analysis of Einstein’s Bros:
1) Competitive Forces:
Our competition includes various bagel restaurants, for example Panera Bread.
The competition strengths are larger in size, product diversity, and many locations to choose from, and name recognition. Einstein Bros can become larger and stronger by satisfying their customers, and give great quality in their food.
2) Economic Forces:
Since restaurants now demands healthier products. Einstein Bros has to provide their customers with a variety of options. Because the demand will continue to grow, this will be the economic fore for the company because of the ingredients that will need to be purchased.
3) Technological Forces:
Modern technology is used to obtain information about products and services. The internet has a strong impact on how companies market their business. Einstein Bros offers a club where you can sign-up and receive general mailings and catering mailings that are filled with exclusive deals, and information on the latest products and promotions.
4) Sociocultural Forces:
Einstein Bros caters to all individuals. They welcome both male and females, and all ages. Einstein Bros also does catering, they deliver for all
occasions.
Strategic Plan:
In the next 3-5 years, Einstein Bros plans to increase shareholder value including a merger or sale. Also they will focus on expanding their catering business.
Tactical Plan:
Einstein Bros plans to continue to open more restaurants to increase the growth in units, and put them on top of the restaurant business. Also they would like to continue their catering business and expand the specialty beverage program.
