“It will never make any difference to a hero what the laws are. His greatness will shine and accomplish itself unto the end, whether they second him or not.” Ralph Waldo Emerson has a very interesting claim. Is a hero still a hero even if he or she breaks the law? While there may be many people that will disagree; I agree with Emerson. A hero is still a hero even if he disregards the law, and in my essay I will be giving two reasons why. A heroic should be justified if it is in the interest of helping other people and doesn’t harm anyone, morals don’t always correlate with laws. For my last point, I will also explain a possible viewpoint of the opposition.…

Relocation to Germany after my wedding to a German National in December 2012 was the time when I decided to top up my five years of Defense management experience with a formal training in Business methods and etiquettes that only an MBA would impart. Prior experience in the technical arm of Defense services included work in diverse management issues, manpower management, training of subordinates, planning of resources and projecting requirements to various MNCs for designing customized defense grade solutions. On completion of my engineering degree in 2005, I decided to join the technical branch (Signals) of Indian Army. I cleared my SSB (Service Selection Board) topping the merit list amongst all technical graduates. I was then sent for six months of rigorous training to become an officer. The training included building of physical and mental stamina to work under stress and pressures to achieve pre-defined goals and strive for the best. Training taught me only one thing "Everything is Mental ". If you are mentally tough you can do anything to achieve your goals. Within six months I was a soldier, trained to take all kinds of stress, make decision and be accountable for them. I worked with Indian Army for five years and these years helped me to gain experience in all sort of man and material management. This, coupled with my experience of working for people from different cultural background, made me capable of nourishing a collaborative mindset to work with, and work for, different kinds of people across the vertical. This unique blend of experiences has elevated me to a vantage point that gives me an original point of view. An MBA focusing on leadership and global experience from Mannheim Business School would coat my experience so far with a veneer of holistic understanding and help me to achieve further career objectives and eventually contribute towards my final entrepreneurial goals. I wish to achieve a…
