People used to to believe 6 hours of sleep are the perfect sleep,wrong you would need eight and a half To nine hours of sleep for good academic learning According to npy.org moving the time would improve their health and academic experience. Start time should be later for middle school students because the students would have a better learning experience which would improve their grades. To begin, moving the time to a later wake up time would improve students health and grades. The students need energy if you don't have energy than your brain gets tired causing no focus on the topic you are learning about.some 7th graders have gym first depending on the school if those 7th graders don’t have energy waking up to early they won't get a good grade and it is fun having energy to play and have good times .energy can lead to good behaviors if a student is misbehaving in class sometimes they will get crabby from waking up early.i have found this information from sleep foundation If we move the start time later someone might ask “moving time later students wouldn't get to play as much as they usually do” students would decrease time to play but they could play during the weekends and if students finish their homework they could still play other people would say that “moving this time wouldn't that require a lot of changes” it would require a lot of changes but principals could make the changes during the summer and once you made them the students will be much happier.
