Student are sleep deprived and some get no time because they slept in on accident. Some schools start at any where from 7:00 to 7:30, while other schools start anywhere around 8:00 to 9:00. For example, a school in Indiana starts at 7:30 and ends at 3:45. In in complete honesty, schooldays should start later. Students could get more sleep if school started later. Also, If you get a job where you work nights then waking up early in the morning won't help you when you wake up in the afternoon. Plus, again, if you get a job in highschool and you end up working all night then you get no sleep and can’t pay attention.The counterclaim is not valid because of the fact that not getting enough sleep will affect your performance in school and in your jobs after school is over. A simple fact, Not enough sleep will affect how you do in everyday life.The reasons go against the counterclaim because If you get up early in the morning then you can’t get up early in the afternoon because you're used to waking up early in the morning. In complete honesty ,schools should start later so students can get more sleep.
