Evil Scientist
I followed the evil scientist into a dark room. What I saw, I would never forget. The atmosphere was charged with several chemical smells that I can’t describe and there were not any lights in the room but heavy trunks of old clothes, dusty and broken furniture and enormous threads of cobwebs into which the scientist just vanished .This gave me a haunted impression and as I was standing, suddenly, a shadow whizzed past me. This made me more petrified. Then against my will, I took a step and followed the shadow.
The shadow lead me to a room which was filled with a lot of popping coloured potions on the table, walls covered with moulds eating them away and an abnormal damp smell. Then, to my horror, there laid a girl beneath the table. I was scared out of my wits but still decided to walk in. As I started walking, the evil scientist hurried in with his ugly looking dog. Seeing this I hid myself behind the door and peeped in. He came closer to the girl who was groaning in fear.
“Your end is here, no one can save you” said, the scientist. I was feeling very nervous and suddenly “Help, please someone take me out of here” screamed the girl. Hearing this I could feel my legs trembling. “There is no one to hear you, you are my dogs dinner” screeched, the scientist. The scientist was about to kill the girl when I realised that I had a pen in my pocket. I thought this to be a great plus point and made a plan.
When the scientist came closer to the girl, I ran in with my full speed and stabbed him quickly with the pen, according to the plan. Finally, the scientist got hurt and fainted down. Then, to my astonishment, the room was filled with incandescent lights and the girl was giving me a frown look. I was confused when a bunch of people rushed towards me. “Who are you?”questioned, a person surprisingly.
“I saw the person in black robes and thought him to be the evil scientist, thereby followed him” exclaimed, I. Everybody started laughing I still stood confused.
“It

In 1979, when Frank D’Amico was staying in the mansion his wife experienced something rather bizarre. It was late in the night and she was preparing to climb into her bed when she saw what looked like a dark figure standing at the foot of her bed. It seemed to be coming straight towards her in a strange gliding motion. Panicking, she found the lamp on her bedside table and turned it on. As the light flickered, it illuminated all corners of the bedroom and there was nobody there. Whatever dark figure that had sent chills down her spine had vanished as suddenly as it had appeared.…

Scientist One ushers the being towards the bench. Scientist One removes the ties from the beings hand, placing each on it's knees. The front of the being comes into the focus of the audience. The camera zooms into the being from an extreme long shot to an extreme close up, focusing on the being's eyes.…

Albert Einstein considered the greatest scientist of the 20th century hopes to accurately respond to Phyllis’s letter that asked him whether scientists prayed and if they did what did they pray about. Einstein’s response is rhetorically accurate in the fact that he lets Phyllis know the answer to her question in an understandable manner and is not abrupt. Einstein’s audience is a sixth-grade student so he answered his question by saying “no” in a kind way. The writer Einstein uses pathos and logos to allow his point to clearly shine; he also uses simplistic diction to recreate his audiences understanding.…

“Just come see the lawyer,” I said, “It is for good reason”. I walked him to the house where the monster was resting. I led him to the front of the door, but instantly stopped to hear if there was even the slightest bit of noise coming from the doctor’s cabin. I could not hear anything, but I was hesitant as I did not know if this was a good or bad thing. ‘“Well, sir,”’ I said, ‘“here we are, and God grant there be nothing wrong.”’…

The glistening, white snow fell slowly to the ground outside the window. The distinct shapes of the snowflakes shown; the light from the street lamp seeping through the cracks. The mumble of the heater in the corner of the room; the faint sound of the blood dripping onto the floor were the only sounds. He lay there; motionless. The thuds were entering the silent room once again. The creaking of the wooden floor grew louder and louder. Still the light of the street lamp shone through the window and onto the far wall. The nasty figure walked into the murky room. Only its shadow appeared on the far wall behind it. The boy in the bed was Eli. His tiny eight year old body was red with his own blood. Then……

When you hear the word “mad scientist” you perceive an aggressive, eccentric, awkward and intellectual individual that works with fictional equipment in order to initiate their intelligible schemes. On the other hand, they fail to recognize the evil that will stream from the hubris of “playing god”. A majority of the time these “mad scientists” are individuals who value their experiments and scientific curiosity over themselves, others and the world. The literature works, The Birthmark, Rappaccini’s Daughter and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde all depict the role of a “mad scientist” who ultimately destroys themselves and others in an attempt to create something perfect.…

After half an hour, we arrived at the graveyard. The graveyard was deserted and had hundreds of graves spaced out all over the field. The faint wind moaned through the trees and the grass danced. There was a high-pitched howl every so often. I feared that it might have been the dead spirits that came to complain about being disturbed. But I knew that ghosts weren’t real until…

It was now or never in the white room full of beeping machines surrounding me. The doctor had just told me that I was dying. My heart sunk to the ground as hard as an anchor. The ghost-like faces in the room were my parents, as they sat there more lost than ever. I now knew I had to fight not only for my life, but with myself. Remembering the sting of the tube down my throat and IV in my arm, I reluctantly moved closer to the plate. This plate full of food staring at me was now my medicine. It took every muscle in my body to pick up the forkful of peas. The gravitational pull of my fingers clinging to the fork was unbearable, as though my body was screaming for me to put it down. It has been months since I have been this close to a plate, nor picked up a fork. I closed my eyes as the tears came streaming down my cheeks and opened my quivering mouth. I moved my shaky hand towards my mouth and poured the peas over my tongue. As I swallowed, I felt every pea go down like they were slitting my throat. This was putting poison in my body, as I felt the guilt clawing at me leaving invisible scars of fear and anger behind. I…

My rod was perched on a branch while I took a small break to check on my bait. Then in the corner of my eye I saw a child, no more than 8 years old, playing by the river. This was no time for someone this young to be all alone, so I decided to speak to him. I proceeded to the boy when suddenly I halted. My sixth sense echoed for me to stop, a mere 10 seconds passed when I pondered over why I had stopped. I was surprised at the abrupt change of weather, my body became surrounded by a ‘cold’ darkness and colds descended from heaven to earth. My body was shaking as a chill swam up my back tickling my hairs. A large figure advanced towards William, a monster, it had to be. Its feet pounded the ground as the innocent boy turned around. The minutes that followed were ones I could never forget… They exchanged a small conversion when the monster like object screamed “ You are related to Victor, you shall not survive”. The boy was picked up then he cascaded to the floor, life slowly exited him while I ran in fear”.…
