Examples Of Give Me Death By Patrick Henry
“Give me liberty, or give me death!” Patrick Henry’s famous words still remain in history to influence our country, but many Americans generally neglect this phrase. We often take our freedom for granted without understanding how our Founding Fathers fought for our liberty from Britain. As Americans, we should respect our country and the freedom and rights given to us. We shouldn’t take this for granted because so many people around the world are unfortunate to not have this gift that most of us were born with or given.
Our Founding Fathers established a stable government which allowed us to have the freedoms and rights bestowed in the Constitution. They gave all they had to ensure liberty for America, something that many people still do not recognize today. We live in a society where many people have no recognition of where their freedoms have come from or the limitations to those freedoms. We take our inalienable rights for granted each day without realizing.

They gave their lives so we are able to live ours without having to fight as they did. They made it possible for our country to live with freedom and liberated from others. While many Americans often forget this, we should still live under the influence of their sacrifices and should respect their efforts each day. For example, many Americans refuse to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, something that is important to our nation and the people. I believe it is our duty as Americans to respect and honor the people who fought for our country, the people who left their lives behind to fight for our cause not just for their own. Our Veterans are selfless people who served our country to protect our rights, and I believe everyone should at least honor those incredible

It is important to keep honoring our veterans because they have sacrificed so much for this country. Also we honor them because we need to tell them how appreciative we are of their dutiful service to our country. Even the president honors our veterans. Each year the president or one of his representatives lays a wreath on The Tomb of The Unknown Soldiers in the Arlington Cemetery every Veterans Day to honor those veterans. Even though the first unknown soldier was laid to rest there on Armistice day on the year of 1921 this ceremony still continues. This is one way that shows just how important honoring our veterans…

It is very important to keep honoring our veterans because if they didn’t fight for our country we would still be ruled by England or any other country that tried to fight us. Veterans play a big role in shaping our country and it is our job to recognize that. It takes a lot of tears and heartbreak to end a war, like WWI that ended on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, and those who survived and died are worthy of the recognition. If you have never talked to a veteran about their experiences in war, try it sometime and you might see how valuable they were in the making of the U.S. I think that it was smart that Dwight D. Eisenhower changed it from Armistice Day to Veterans Day because like I said it is very important to keep…

I think American veterans should be honored for several key reasons. The first and foremost reason is that these brave men and women risked ther lives for the freedom of the United States, or even for the freedom of a country half way around the world, which they knew nothing about. Either way these soilders fought for freedom, and each one should be honored one way or another. Another reason veterans should be commended is because we never want to repeat the time when Vietnam war veterans came back to the states. They were treated terribly. They were spit on, objects were thrown at them, they were denied of jobs by people who resented the war, etc. Yet another reason is that these people fight so the rest of us don't have to. These people also keep the wars over seas, so us citizens can sleep safely at night. Also, some soilders see some really traumatizing things. Either seeing their buddies die right in front of them. Anyone who has seen Saving Private Ryan has a pretty good idea of what some soilders witness.…
