This isn’t another day for us to get out of work and go easy on. This is a day that was made to honor and thank our veterans, the ones who fought and risked their lives, and even those who gave theirs, for our freedom. Going into battle isn’t easy, you never know if you’re going to die the next day or keep living. You never know what you’re going to see while you’re in the field. Veterans Day is America’s way to thank veterans, both of past wars and current wars. Veterans Day to me is a day that we need to use to thank our veterans, no matter how. Buy a veteran lunch, sit down and talk with one, or just tell one thanks for serving their country, whatever it may be, just make them feel appreciated for what they willingly sacrificed for us.
