VETERANS
Veterans are those who have serve in order to honor and protect their country. As these individuals boldly practice their beliefs in freedom, they rewrite history, and we as American honor these patriots who were willing to give the ultimate sacrifice. Veterans Day is the day that we set aside to honor those who serve, but one day does not cover all the bloodshed. The day is not enough to show the appreciation which is due to the countless number of heroic men and woman. The American people should do more to show how much they appreciate their duty. Veterans make me be proud to be in a country were people would sacrifice themselves to keep our freedom and other rights that we take advantage of everyday.
With out veterans fighting for us we can end up like other countries controlled and without rights. Americans have a choice to whether or not to join the military. Not all of them so it for money but for patriotism. The gratitude that veterans deserve is not showed towards them. The people of this country need to look around and see the simple things that they are gifted with. The veterans didn’t ask for this day of the year but they sure deserve it. Without veterans the world might be completely different in a dramatic way. I show my gratitude to all the veterans that are here today and to the other that fit into that empty chair, thank you for all that you do.
