One key example that I read about recently is a prime example of that. This example is the organization PETA protesting circuses. Although PETA is an organization that I don't always agree on, mostly because I love eating meat, they did do something right with this protest. They have been protesting the Ringling Brotheres Circus for thirty-six years. They have done this by encouraging people who disagree with the way animals are treated in circuses to speak out. These people speaking out has caused attendance of these events to go so low that the Ringling Brothers had no other option but to close down their circus in May of this year. I honestly believe that if thirty-six years ago they would have decided to take a non-peaceful approach towards this issue nothing would have been changed.
In conclusion, through the details I have mentioned earlier I believe that peaceful resistance to laws have a positive impact on a society. If you look back through history this has almost always been the case. On the other hand, if you look back on what violent resistance has accomplished it is basically
