Executive Summary For Personal Quality Project
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Purpose
The purpose of this Personal Quality Project was to have “Personal Empowerment”. I was given the authority to set standards for myself which were both academic and personal. For ten weeks and in my case nine weeks (since I missed Week 1) I had the authority to follow my set standards. Following the set standards was necessary to help me with my personal growth and so that I can believe in myself as well as motivate me to follow my set standards.
Summary
I had missed week one of the semester because I was out of town. When I started my Personal Quality Project in week two on Tuesday, it was a little hard in the start to remember about my set standards since I was not used to them. I was still adjusting in that one week

In the 1920’s the 18th Amendment prohibited the making or selling of alcohol in America. In 1917, prior to the 18th amendment, President Woodrow Wilson initiated a temporary wartime prohibition with the goal of saving grain for food production after the United States became involved in World War One. It had been illegal to sell “intoxicating beverages” that contained more than 0.5% of alcohol. In areas that were highly populated, prohibition had been enforced more strongly unlike rural areas and small towns where it had been more lenient. Prohibition was a movement started by women’s groups who wanted to get rid of the consumption of alcohol. By 1830, the American population consumed 7.1 gallons of alcohol per capita on a regular basis. Many people did not agree with the banning of alcohol from the beginning. Because of the disagreement, many people would protest against it because they wanted alcohol to…

The Preeclampsia Foundation is a non-profit that provides health promotion pamphlets to health care providers on preeclampsia in its many forms. This information is provided free of charge for distribution to the provider’s at-risk patient population.…

This was a really eye opening experience. The inventory got me thinking about many different aspects and how I learn and approach different problems and situations. The implication is that the different selfs (physical, emotional, social, critical, creative, and passionate) affect how you learn. In some situations you might be more confident in yourself than others. However, after you complete the self profile it is not really well defined about what the term survival, maintenance, and enhancement means. I can deduce that the survival means that I am just getting by, the maintence means I am trying but have to work at it, and enhancement means that I have mostly mastered that portion of myself. This would open up a discussion with the support team as to what your strengths and weaknesses are. I know for myself by thinking about the questions, it made more aware and as I go into a situation, I might think differently about how I approach the…
