1. I learned that teamwork helps a lot in certain situations. I know this, because if the boys didn’t work together to win the first race, they would have never made it to state.
2. The message of this movie was to never give up. If Jim White gave up on the kids to work at a richer facility, they wouldn’t have won the state championship, so that is why the message is to never give up on a team or on any task.

The music was Hispanic, and the community played it at her party, just like they would at any girls. This helps the viewer understand how the family is a part of the community now. Another example of music in the movie, was when the boys went to the ocean. The music was uplifting, because the boys had never been to the ocean. It helped create a lighter mode after a tense moment in the movie.
