Farewell Speech for a Boss Who Is Moving
Welcome everyone to this very special but bitter-sweet occasion for us. It’s very sad to be saying goodbye to Mr. Farid who is moving to a multinational company. I just want to say a few words to express the company's appreciation for the time Mr. Boss has spent with us. As you know, today is the last day working for Mr. Farid at our company, Salam Maju.
We have worked together for over 16 years, years where you gave me so many opportunities, advice, and helped me develop in my career. I wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed working under you over the past 16 years. I've learned so much, from how to organize a large group to how to plan a budget. You've been a great friend and mentor.
I cannot describe how much I am going to miss you. While I am so happy for you and for your deserved new role in your new company, I am so sad to see you go.
I can't express my appreciation enough for all you've done, and all you haven't known you've done. Of course, he will also be remembered for the every day things, such as friendly with other staffs.
Mr. Farid moving on to bigger and brighter things will leave a gaping hole in the Salam Maju organisation. While he has put in place some amazing ideas that will stay after he leaves, it will be a challenge to fill that hole.
