1. I examined a arch fingerprint ( my index finger and my middle finger), with those prints i seen ridge edging and arches.
2. I did not have a partner so i cant compare fingerprints.
3. Police officers, crime scene investigators and others in the justice system rely on forensic science techniques to ensure that the right people are punished for law violations and to keep people safe. Fingerprints are starting players in the criminal offense and defense lineup. They are so important to criminalistics that justice officers still use fingerprint systems over a hundred years after scientists developed them. lab two
1. PLASMA: circulates dissolved nutrients, such as, glucose, amino acids and fatty acids (dissolved in the blood or bound to plasma proteins), and removes waste products, such as, carbon dioxide, urea and lactic acid.RED BLOOD CELLS: These contain hemoglobin, an iron-containing protein, which facilitates transportation of oxygen by reversibly binding to this respiratory gas and greatly increasing its solubility in blood.WHITE BLOOD CELLS: are part of the immune system; they destroy and remove old or aberrant cells and cellular debris, as well as attack pathogens and foreign substances PLATELETS: are responsible for blood clottingand also helps to prevent bacteria from entering the body.
2. A and B antigens determine our blood type: If you have type "A" blood, you have "A" antigens attached to the surface of your red blood cells and "Anti-B" antibodies not allowing "B" blood in. If you have type "B" blood, you have "B" antigens, and "Anti-A" antibodies not allowing "A blood in" If you have "AB" you have both antigens on your blood cells and no antibodies. If you have "O" you have no antigens but both "Anti-A" and "Anti-B" antibodies.
3. To determine blood type, your cells are mixed with commercially prepared anti-A, anti-B, anti-AB, and anti-D. Your plasma is mixed with commercially prepared A cells and B cells. The reaction pattern determines your type. If you got the wrong type of blood, you would experience pain at the infusion site, abdominal/back pain due to renal failure, and die within minutes from absolute renal failure and shock.
4. I would say i did rather well in the game. At the end i had 3 blood drops but that was only because of my first patient i could understand what to do then i got a grip of the game and succeeded within the next two patients. lab three
1.If they cant identify information from a blood drop or just dont understand it they overlook it.
2. 25.1 feet per second. What way and how fast the person or item is traveling.

The purpose of this lab is to determine which father is the blood father of the child. The mother, Andrea, and three other fathers were tested by their blood type and Rh factor to determine the blood father. The ABO blood test determines the blood type of subjects by the alleles IA, IB, and i. The blood alleles IA and IB are codominant over i, meaning both of the alleles are dominant over the recessive i. The antigen with the Rh factor is determined by D as dominant or d as recessive, with the Rh positive factor as dominant and the Rh negative factor as recessive. In the ABO blood test, synthetic blood samples and synthetic serum of Anti-A, Anti-B, and Anti-Rh are mixed respectively into a blood typing slide. If agglutination occurs as the samples are mixed, then the subject’s blood type is the respective A, B, or Rh factor. The father with the most closely related alleles with Andrea is the blood father by testing June, the mother, Andrea, and all the fathers.…

    31. Which blood sample did not coagulate with any of the antibodies tested? Four. Because Type O-negative blood does not have any antigens. It is referred to as the "universal donor" type as it is well-matched with any blood type and since Type O blood does not contain RBC's with A or B antigens on their surface, there are no agglutinogens.…

The types are A, B, O, AB blood. A & B alleles are codominant, so if both A and B are present they will be expressed together. O alleles have neither A or B antigens. O and O will result in O or O, an O or B will result in an O or B. A and A can result in A or O (same for B and O). AB and AB can result in A, B, or AB. They inherit it depending on the combo of their parent’s blood type. The Rh blood group is also a human blood system group. It is independently inherited from the ABO blood group alleles. Rh has Rh+ and Rh-. A + and + will result in a + or -, while a + and - will result in a + or -, but a - and - will result only in a…

    1. Blood typing can be used to identify a parent in that the blood type can prove that a person is not the parent of a child rather than determine without question who the parent is. A, B, AB and O blood groups are the result of three alleles. Allele A and B are co-dominant and O is recessive to both A and B. Should the discrepancy continue, tissue typing and DNA fingerprinting will be used. Read through the following information and answer the questions below:…
