2. Protesting can make someone feel important because no matter what they still tried their best and fought for what they believed in. Even if their goals are not met it still takes a lot of courage to stand up and do what Lupe and the others were doing. Organizing helps individuals “stop being victims” because it forces them to stand up for what is right and for what they believe in even when others doubt them. Although risks can be involved, it shows that they are strong individuals and that they have rights and deserves to be treated equally.

I do not see (or hear or read) about worker struggles like the ones shown in the film, Made in L.A. as often as I feel that we should. When it comes to news reports, worker perspectives are rarely included. The issue of workers being treated poorly in the work place is not discussed enough in our society. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the quality of coverage on these issues at a 5 maybe a 6 at most. To help improve news coverage, I would try interviewing workers that are struggling and try sharing their story with the world. I would show more concern about these poor working conditions and would do my best to try and improve them to the best of my
