ABSTRACT
This study examined the effects of having

I. Introduction
Basically, a relationship is a connection between two or more people. In our lives, we have many different kinds of relationships with our family, our friends, our teachers and our neighbours.
A romantic relationship usually involves an emotional, intellectual and/or sexual connection with another individual or individuals. Everyone has their own unique expectation of romantic or sexual relationships. We choose this topic in our research paper because having a relationship is popular especially to high-school students. We want to know the reason why they need to get into a relationship and what will be the effects of having an early relationship to them. We are concern for the students that are neglecting their studies because of having a relationship at an early age. Students who are in a relationship have a higher percentage that their performance in academics is not good or their studies are neglected by them. Our research is going to start at the third week of February 2014. We are concern about this because this is becoming a problem to the students at a younger age that they are carrying such problem that they must not experience thus at the younger age their concern must about their academics, on how they can get higher grades.
“My boyfriend or girlfriend is just an inspiration” this is the common excuse of those students who entered a relationship without thinking the possible outcome of this decision specially for their studies. Some students feel like they are in if they are in a relationship. We will discuss all the effects of having an early relationship according to what will the Students say.
We will all discover why they are having an early relationship, we will also know what will be the effects of it to their studies, do they really serve as an inspiration to the students or not, we will know all of that after we have our interviews to the students.

II. Background of the study

III. Results and discussion
We made a survey that has questions that will give us the idea of how many high school students of CSI at least have been in the relationship, and it will also give us the idea of what is going on in the relationship of the teenagers like the high school students. We conducted a survey and give it to some random high school students of CSI to answer it, and this the results of the survey:
Graph 1:

In the first question in the survey that states “ Have you ever been in a relationship” and it resulted that eleven of twenty-five high school students says they have been in a relationship, which is equivalent to 44% and fourteen of them says no, they have not been in a relationship, which is equivalent to 56%. It clearly states that there are more students that have not been in a relationship since birth.

For the students who says they have been in a relationship can proceed to the questions after the number question number one.
Graph 2:

From the choices that we put in question number two says five of the eleven high school students of CSI that have been in a relationship says that the effect of the relationship to them is Inspiration, only two of them says they motivates them to have a good grades, and four of them says they got failing or bad grades because of having a relationship, they did not have time to study.

Graph 3:

For the question number three which says is the relationship work out most high school students of CSI says no which is seven of eleven and least high school students says Yes which is four of eleven . The reasons of high school students that says their relationship didn’t work out is first because of they are not compatible with each other, second it is because of they don’t understand each other, third is that they said the boy didn’t have time for her and the most reason that their relationship didn’t work out is that because there is a third party involved.

Graph 4:

In this graph shows the last question for the survey. The high school students says that their relationship mostly lasted for months which is eight of eleven, few says year which is one of eleven and others says weeks which is two of eleven. After they say how long did their relationship lasted they answered the question how many. For weeks mostly says three to four weeks, for months it is mostly five to seven months the least they answered two to three, and the one that answered year says one year because he say they seem to be compatible.

IV. Conclusion
Having a boyfriend and girlfriend relationship at an early age like those students in high school greatly affects their academic performance in school whether it is good or bad, but the most effect of the relationship is having an inspiration and having a bad grades, one thing that must be remember before entering the boyfriend girlfriend relationship you must be responsible enough to hold this kind of relationship because if someone is not responsible enough the relationship will not last and it will be just a waste of time. The attitude of a person whom you have been relationship also contributes to the judgement on how long will your relationship last, because being comfortable, compatible, understanding, and it has no third party involved also means that the relationship is good. For over-all conclusion having a relationship like in high school age is not required and advisable because our mind is not broad enough and we are not responsible enough of having a relationship, because we don’t know where will the relationship go.

Therefore, frequent break ups and arguments lead to attempts of suicide, teenage pregnancy, STD’s, teen violence, and substance abuse. This happens due to lack of experience and a broader understanding of what relationships are (Dasgupta, 2011).…

When a teenager is having a relationship, he might and tend to change his priority where education should be his first. They will neglect their studies just to please their partner. At the end of the day, their grade will be a flunk if they keep on doing this. Teenagers are more interested in having a relationship, which they think it is a cool thing to do just like in the television, besides sitting down and finishing their assignments or study. In order to abolish this problem, parents should take part in their children life. Besides that, the teenagers must know their intimacy limit with one another and do not ever leave education behind. Numerous Korean parents oppose teenage dating, in concern of its possible disturbance upon academic achievement. They simply believe it will somehow negatively affect academic scores, rather than acknowledging it as a natural process within adolescence, and growing as a social being. However there are no significant proof of the correlation between dating and academic scores; and growing into a social being is more than accomplishing academic demands, entering a famous university, or getting employed by a major company. It requires socializing with others, especially with the opposite sex; teenage dating can help this progress. By spending great amounts of time of deep communication while dating, teenagers will be able to learn how to interact and respect the opposite sex as well; and this ability to communicate and respect the opposite sex is extremely important in growing into a social being. Thus teenage dating is clearly not something to be discouraged or negatively viewed.…
