1.0 Introduction to Report The nature of this business is an online service provider and they are broken down into two categories, which are Helpr and Giftr. Helpr is an online virtual assistant and as for Giftr, Giftr is being the one-stop personalized gifting platform. Helpr is a platform that act as a personal shopper by assisting their customers to get anything they want or need but not easily reachable from the offline retailers and delivers the items to their doorstep. The retailers that they are in collaboration with are Ikea, Krispy Kreme, Garrett Popcorn and other more. According to Miss Sheena, one of the founders of Helpr said that this business idea came out in a casual ‘mamak’ session amongst a group of her friends who …show more content…
These are the assets and capabilities of the organization that can be utilized as an elementary for emerging the competitive benefits. In order to be more better and outstanding from their competitors, Helpr’s founders always ensure themselves to strive better in the customer services. Being a virtual concierge service, they have to make sure that they maintain a record of replying the customer in the targeted time limit, for instance, making sure the phone call only ring maximum 3 times to ensure the customer does not wait too long. It can be simple for people to misunderstand or misjudge others and these misunderstandings may prompt to arguments or strain in individual, dispassionate, or proficient connections. In a few occurrences, clashes may emerge, and these conflicts can make communication scientifically even more challenging. Inefficient communication may affect the organization by not being able to trade information to everyday operations and make the communication system to convey new items information. Lack of customers’ information is the biggest contribution of miscommunication faced by Helpr as their customers do not necessarily always provide sufficient details in their first request such as address, contact number and other, thus leading to multiple back and forth communication for clarification purposes. Communication barriers also lead to ineffective communication in Helpr as there are different cultural background, spoken languages, age groups and business level of employees. One-way communication will most likely turn into an ineffective approach in exchanging data throughout the whole organization. In Helpr, employees usually do not give any feedback on the decisions made by the leaders, therefore, it is hard for the leaders to get on track and accomplish the
