Duckworth is trying to explain that having grit could help you succeed making your future to a reality. Further, I understand that if you set a goal and push to achieve it without giving up, that you will reach your goals.
Why does this support your opinion This quote supports my opinion because we all need stamina to achieve our goals in life. Like my friend who wanted to become a lawyer. He went to college despite dropping out of high school and got his degree.

Duckworth is trying to explain the more knowledge kids have about the brain, the more likely they are to succeed when they fail, because they don’t believe failure is a permanent condition. Further, I understand if we learn how our brain works and work through our failures with stamina, we could all succeed.
