U.S. didn’t accept the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty and it risks the safety of the citizens in the U.S. and the United States’ allies too. With guns the colonists back then believed that without guns they couldn’t protect themselves and keep their loved ones and their things safe. Guns protect the citizens of the U.S. from getting attacked by any other countries. Citizens have to feel safe in order to live. The way of life in the U.S. has to involve guns. People use them to hunt and make a living. People need the right to bear arms, and the laws which the American people follow under their Constitution. Without both or one of the other than a society can not succeed. Just in case the government had too much power and become out of control, then the citizens with their guns can defend themselves.
With people pushing gun control forward they don’t realize that bad people that do the violence don’t care about the laws. No amount of gun control laws are going to prevent criminals from acting out. For certain people’s mistakes and choices, these things bring everyone in society down with them. Everyone is blamed and that just makes things worse. When more gun regulations are forced upon the people, then more crimes occur and then there are more illegal guns out on the streets. So what? Why does it even matter if gun control is legalized or not? It is very important because the ability of owning a gun is a right that cannot be taken away. Citizens have to follow a way of life, the right to bear arms is part of that life. Guns are a part of society, war, hunting, and much more. Guns give people the comfort and the confidence to do things. Not violent things. Guns have been part of the U.S. since the beginning, since the U.S. was established and before that. Making changes and now would ruin everything and that would be tearing the U.S. down by the roots. That just can’t
happen.
