The services I provided in my community service experience was at the Habitat for Humanity restore on I really don't remember the two days I did it. Three facts about The Habitat for Humanity would be 1. That they buy, clean, and resell
furniture, light fixtures, and other items. 2. They mostly provide community service for school hours, jail hours, and more. 3. The Habitat for Humanity also goes out and helps people by building houses and other things.
I think what I learned during this experience will help me in my future by me already knowing how to price items and stock shelves if every other career choice of mine goes down the drain. When my service was complete I had mixed emotions. I was glad that it was over and that I helped out the community. Although, I was kind of sad that I had to leave because I really had fun doing it.
The results of my service were pretty well. The store was stocked, and also pretty clean. There were many couches, dishwashers, refrigerators , and stoves sold, and I left with a smile on my face. It felt nice to help out the community.
My community service work influenced my opinion relating to community service in a good way. I thought community service would be such a drag and that I wouldn't be able to do it. But I was proved wrong, through dedication, hard work, and being able to move the entire time I persevered.
