College is intended to be about academic achievement. Although the leading goal of extended education is to strive for greatness through education, why has there been no significant effort put forth to make extended education less taxing on students. As years pass college has only become excessively and increasingly troublesome and strenuous. College causes numerous things, stress on your brain and your body, stress of having to reimburse student loans for the next several decades, consuming excess detrimental food that it affects their brains physically. Accordingly, there’s the issue of whether or not college is worth all the effort when there's so many negative attributes. College is a very expensive and stressful matter. All of the information that is taught in prominent universities is on in the internet, you can simply type in a few keywords and have countless hours of education, for free. If all of the lectures given in prestige schools is at your fingertips, what's the point of paying in total millions of dollars when you can have the same education for free at home. Accordingly, if you have the same education as another person, or even if you're smarter, the other person will be more likely to get the job you applied for just because he has a piece of paper that says degree on it.
