Team Ground Rules and Guidelines
What are the general expectations for all members of the team?
LH-Every team member effectively communicates and contributes.
SA-All members of the team are expected to participate in both the discussions and the assignments as well as share any information and suggestions. Team members must keep an open mind and be respectful of each other’s opinions.
FR- Some basic expectations for all team members are to communicate effectively, make sure that everyone understands the assignment, ask questions when necessary, and to come together to get the work done in a timely manner. It is also important for everyone on the team to keep other team members informed when they are having difficulty getting the work done so as a team we can come up with another plan to help get that team members portion done for the team project.

Expectations for Time Management and Involvement
(Participation, communication with the team, accessibility, etc.)
LH-Please post a communication at least every 48 hours. Assignment need to be completed at least 24 hours before due to allow time to gather information to complete.
SA- When dealing with team projects, especially online assignments such as this one, it's very important to be mindful of deadlines. It's best to do a quick overview once the project is assigned and

I will communicate with all members of the team and try to get to know a little bit about everyone, as well as their specific role in the team. I will also let them know to ask other team members for help when they come across a problem they can 't solve. It will most likely result with someone coming up with a solution that they had never considered. It will also encourage team members to go to someone else when they have a problem, instead of just struggling with it on their own. I will also inform them to never shut down a person 's idea immediately. This can hurt a person 's chances of ever speaking up again. It can also deter other members of the team from brainstorming on a problem. Be supportive of everyone 's ideas and later weed out ideas that don 't work with the group and also, to be accountable for their actions and never blame another team member a mistake that they…

Learning teams consist of a small number of students grouped together, and working together on assignments during the duration of the course. According to University of Phoenix, Inc. (2006-2013), “By relying on others and having others rely on you, you will grow your collaborative skills”. This team encourages successful performance results, but successful performance can be hindered if team members do not equally contribute and work together. A collaborative team environment is the key for the complete success of the team. A collaborative environment can be created if team members do the following; creating a team charter, discussions within the team, positive information, and equally take responsibility for portions of assignments. As a team, we shall address value of team collaboration as part of the Learning Team model.…

Teamwork is characterized by having a sense of purpose to achieve a clear, specific goal that all members believe is important to attain. A team can be assigned to carry out a specific project, such as seeking ways to improve profitability in a small business. A team could also be assembled to find the right candidate for a job opening. All teams should consist of members who are capable of contributing to the achievement of the goal based on their level of knowledge or expertise. If a team is assigned the task of development of an expense budget, but one or more of the members has little or no budgeting experience, the whole team will suffer as a result. A successful team contains a spirit of cooperation. All members need to work together to achieve the specific goal. This can be difficult, especially if some members possess strong personalities or are highly opinionated. Successful teams tend to have strong leaders who can keep everybody on the same page while keeping the petty bickering to a minimum. Teams should also have a set of rules that determines its operating procedures. These rules help to keep the team on track and eliminate ambiguities. For example, a team might have a rule that all team members must agree on a decision before it can be implemented. This would require that the team deliberate, much in the way of a trial jury, until a consensus is reached.…
