High school athletes strive to be the best they can be on the court or field. Each high school athlete has to have the mindset to be his or her best 100 percent of the time. No matter how hard something is or how bad your body hurts, you have to have the drive to get up and go again day after day until the season is over. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don't play together, the club won't be worth a dime.” When you play on a high school sports team, no matter the sport, you will have to learn how to work with people in order to succeed. At the beginning of the season, the team as a whole will set goals for itself, and each player will strive toward those goals. Setting goals helps all high school athletes to be successful both in the classroom and in their athletics.
