High Schools Vs High School Lunches Essay
Junior High and high school have many differences compared to each other. Some of those differences are: more work in classes, better lunches, and instructions in school. However, the differences can help you succeed in high school.
Having more work in high school is a big difference compared to Junior High. I do hate the amount of imperative work that I’m faced with now, but I am however able to finish it. Some of the work that I do is something not even related to the subject we are learning about which is deplorable. Since there are more classes in High school than Junior High, that means you would have to finish more school/homework in your classes. However, you can also be successful by doing this amount of work. The more work you do, the better you get in your learning skills and being reputable for the hard work you do. The amount of work you do also affects what you learn and do in school, which is important to be successful. Overall, you would be successful in high school by doing the extra work you get.

Personally, I think the lunches here at Ridgeview are better than the lunches at Junior High. There is more variety here at Ridgeview than at the other Junior Highs. You could eat hot lunches in the cafeteria or buy a snack at the snack bar if you want to. In the cafeteria, you have many options of what meal you want to eat and at Junior Highs, you only have 1 limited choice of what meal you want to eat. You could also bring a cold lunch from home if you don’t like the lunches here at Ridgeview. Having a good lunch is important because your body needs food to continue on working. You need healthy foods so you can keep on learning at school and doing your work. If you don’t eat a healthy and good lunch, your body will slowly function making it hard to learn. Therefore, this is why the food here at Ridgeview is better and helps you be

While most people take school lunch services for granted, not many people know that schools did not originally offer food service. In 1894 some schools in Philadelphia began to offer what was known as penny lunches, which began food services within schools, thanks to local charities. Soon nine other schools in the philadelphia area began to offer penny lunches and other services. In 1909 Dr. Cheesman opened a school or girls that is given credit for taking food services out of the hands of charities and into the hands of schools. He asked the philadelphia school board to ensure that schools would provide food services that provided adequate nutrition for children, and his experiment proved successful. Because, schools lack the proper funding needed to support students with healthy lunches, students have a horrible diet. A lot of people, including myself, believe that if healthy school lunches were provided students at home would make better choices when it came to what snacks they ate between meals. If schools got better funding for healthier lunches it could theoretically save the government more money because the students in turn would have less health problems.…

High school classes might have seemed better in the past compared to college. You might feel more comfortable in smaller classes than you would heading off to university, but that is simply from the comfort of your surroundings. You are familiar with your teachers and your closest friends are always by your side. This might create a friendlier environment, but branching away from the only things you have ever known will help you grow as an individual. Leaving home to start your life as an adult can be tough; however, learning every day responsibilities and making new relationships are two things that will benefit anyone who is getting ready to enter the “real world.” Students benefit more from college classes over high school classes because they learn responsibilities and create new relationships which help them to gain independence.…

School campus lunch is disgusting because it is all slobbery and it is not made homemade. It is not even fresh! The food is so bitter from coming from the freezer and when you take a bite, it feels hard like a rock where it just can break your teeth. The food is so bland it does not taste like anything and one time I found a piece of hair on my food that was obviously not mine. The food is so fake to the point where it is not even made properly. The hamburgers are literally deformed. The food is really hot from overheating it and then students burn their mouth which is so painful! School lunch is really intriguing since foreign objects are found. The Summit staff must think we are animals to eat this kind of food.School lunch is a controversial…

Now what make’s her think that she can just but in like the way she already has? Well the fact is, is that she wants kids to be more healthy so instead of giving us a normal amount of food which most middle schoolers eat a lot of she decided that she would make us healthier and cut that in half. She also has decided that she would also make our food healthier by making the food whole grain, no wheat, no gluten things like that. My opinion is that I think this is just wrong.…
