There is a clear need for an honest dialogue among the many involved parties. All sides may hear things they do not want to hear but we want to work hand-in-hand towards the same goals. That goal is to see HNU rise and grow from the incredible foundation that it was built upon. To heal the gap that has been created, and improve the pride the students feel in the university. There are multiple flaws in their mission statement, but the main complication that there has been among the students is the lack of communication among the administration. The theme, and root of the problem is the university's shortcomings in the field of communication as regards issues directly impacting student education and financial decisions at the school. Identifying the communication problem creates a massive opportunity to change this pattern of behaviour, and to create a new space for a two way dialogue. I would recommends an open forum lasting an hour to 90 minutes, to be held twice a semester, in order to increase trust and interaction between students and administration. To give legitimacy to this forum or panel, it is highly recommended that an officer of HNU’s executive branch along with at least 3 ranking board members be present. Furthermore, it is recommended that prior to each occurrence of this forum, an agenda with all items relevant to the student body be emailed, and posted in public places around HNU. This allows the students who want to be involved to read the agenda and at least be aware of the issues the board and administration are discussing. This not only creates a space for administration and students to talk, but also encourages an environment where the students can have conversations regarding their various opinions on topics that directly impact their education at
