Homeland Security Agency Reflective Report
As of September 2015 to present, I have been a student intern for Homeland Security Investigations in Philadelphia's field office. As an intern, I have assisted HSI Special Agents with various investigative tasks. I have supported HSI Special Agents conduct surveillance on targets of narcotics trafficking organizations and help collect and secure evidence resulting from the execution of a search/arrest warrant. I addition, I have engaged in the gathering of information from confidential sources through proffers, reviewed surveillance and pole camera footage in order to identify potential targets, and applied my bilingual skills to translate undercover recordings from Spanish to English.
