In my opinion it is imposible to not be affected by experience. I mean we so many life examples around us, happening to us directly, and not directly. I would love to use the 9/11th as an example to support my thoughts since we are around that date. Some people could be directly affected by this event with just being there, in a wrong place at a wrong time. But on the other hand this had such a huge impact on the world or I would love to call it now an ‘’experience’’ that affected everybody, no matter if you were not there at that particular moment. …show more content…
But my question is can we really remain unaffected by experience? Yes we might not care, in respect to different cultural opinions, about 9/11th and maybe stayed unaffected by this experience. But Beck also mentions that experience can be defined as a total network that includes behavior, bilogical processes, and past and present environmental stimulation. Therefore, my question is can we really stay unaffected to our biological processes? Is it possible to stay unaffected to our past and present environmental situations? And if we are able to stay unaffected, what and how would that look
