How Did Henry Ford Change The World
In the early years of the 20th century, there were very few advancements of technology in the world. There was no such thing as a motorized vehicle until one man and one company came along and changed all that. 1902 was the start of new century; it was a century of many technology advancements like the first telephone, computer, and first radio. Also including transportation advancements like steam boats, trains and a horse and carriage. What started the 20th century was the Model T. The Ford Motoring company was founded in 1902 by Henry Ford. By 1908 he showed the world a car that was going to change motoring industry forever. 1908 was the year of the Model T, the next great technology advancement. There are people out there that say Henry Ford was not the inventor of the first car, what my research has shown me is that a man named Karl Benz would have to disagree. Henry Ford changed the world with the Model T. Changed how people travel to places with that he ended other transportation services. Starting with a little factory in Detroit, to starting one of the biggest industries in the world today. The 20th century was the frontier of the world’s next great inventors. The Ford Motoring Company was founded in 1902 and their first car was not sent into mass production until 1914. According to The Legend of Henry Ford by Keith Sward there were a few Models that were made that were predecessors to the Model T, for example the Model M. The Model T then became the setting stone for every car made, not only in the Ford Motoring Company but other car companies as well. Other companies also adopted the idea of the assembly line. The Ford motoring company became the big car company in the United States for the rest of the 20th century
