How Did Lord Capulet Change The Story Of Romeo And Juliet
Ever wonder how things would change if Lord Capulet didn’t so some of the things he did in Romeo and Juliet. He did a lot of things that made Juliet a mess, and he didn’t even know it. I bet if Lord Capulet acted different, Romeo and Juliet would probably have a better or happy ending and it wouldn’t have been as sad as it was. Romeo and Juliet would have been a happier story if he wasn’t the reason Romeo and Juliet died. That’s right, I believe he was the reason Romeo and Juliet died in the end of the book.
He was the cause for Romeo and Juliet’s deaths because he should have not had never accepted the marriage of Paris’ and Juliet by saying “Sir Paris, I will make a desperate tender of my child’s love. I think she will be ruled in all respects

lord capulet is the person responsible for romeo and juliet's deaths. One reason lord capulet is to blame is because he had a feud with lord montague “see, what a scourge is laid upon your hate”(5.3.291). The feud that lord capulet has with the montague is to blame because if there were no feud, Romeo and Juliet would not have had to go behind their parents backs and get married without permission.then lord capulet would not have tried to force Juliet to marry county paris. This brings me to my second point:Lord capulet forced juliet to marry paris when she really didn't want to; “I tell thee what. get thee to church o’ thursday or never after look me in the face again speak not reply not never answer me”(3.5.161-263).If lord capulet had…

Lord Capulet was responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s death because he was being really harsh on Juliet's choice on her future.Juliet's father told juliet that if she didn't marry paris she was going to be in big trouble. He mistreated her and said “Hang thee, young baggage! Disobedient wretch!I tell thee to a church Thursday or never after look me in the face” Had he not said that,it would've made Juliet not worry on what she will do and not ask Friar Lawrence for the sleeping potion and play dead.Lord Capulet also arranged the marriage between…

“Three civil brawls, bred of an airy word By thee, old Capulet, and Montague, Have thrice disturbed the quiet of our streets and made Verona’s ancient citizens Cast by their grave beseeming ornaments”. (1,1,80) These famous lines were spoken by Prince in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, these lines demonstrate how the feud between the Capulets and Montagues and how the drama between these two families prevented the forbidden love Romeo and Juliet from getting married. The feud was started centuries before Romeo & Juliet and still went on within their time honestly if it weren’t for the feud the play would be highly monotonous if it wasn’t for the misunderstanding between the two families most of the fights and deaths would cease to exist. Such…

Although he is not the only one to blame for this tragedy. Romeo could be blamed for the tragedy for a lot of reasons. One reason he is the one to blame is he drinks the potion almost rite as Juliet wakes up. Romeo could have went to Friar Lawrence and ask what happened before he took his own life when he could have lived a happy life with Juliet. Also Romeo Mary's Juliet rite after they meet each other pretty much. Romeo could have took it slower and get to know her better. If they would not have gotten married so fast they might still be alive. Romeo and Juliet didn't have to kill themselves. That was their choice which It is unreasonable to throw the blame on another person or an issue that made them commit suicide. If they had thought about their decisions thoroughly, they would end up living a happy life together. Also Romeo knew that she was from the family that he hates. It is kind of ironic how Romeo falls in love with people he can't marry because it just makes the feud between the family's worse. “In faith, I will. Let me peruse this face. Mercutio's kinsman, noble County Paris!...” (Shakespeare 85-92)This is the quote Romeo says before he dies. Romeo did not have to kill Paris he could have talked it out instead of immediately fighting which just made things worse in the end because that's one more death on there hands. That's why I think that the tragedy was not just Friar Lawrence's fault but both Romeo and Friar…

Romeo is the one to blame, the most for the deaths of himself and Juliet. While telling Friar Lawrence about Juliet the friar confronts him, because of the switch from Rosaline to Juliet. Romeo states, “with Rosaline, my ghostly father? No./ I have forgot that name and that name´s woe.” (2.3.45-46). In saying this Romeo proves that a young male might think he is in love but once a girl more beautiful than the last comes along, his heart are as his eyes. This all proves that Romeo is to blame for all of the chaos that came from his “love for Juliet”.…

In Shakespeare’s love tragedy Romeo and Juliet, the Lord Capulet is one of the people to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.First, Lord Capulet was forcing Juliet to marry Count Paris.’’You still live under my roof!”“You’ll be in St.Peter’s church next Thursday,Even if I have to drag you there myself!’’ Says Lord Capulet (Act 3,Scene 5).This quote proves the character to blame because he is forcing Juliet to marry and go somewhere she doesn’t want to be.Lord Capulet also changed the date of the wedding. “The wedding is tomorrow’’, says Lady capulet. ‘’I’ll work everything out even if I have to stay up all night’’,says Lord Capulet. ‘’There’s plenty of time before…

    Blame For Romeo's Death

At the end of Romeo and Juliet both characters end up dying due to a chain reaction of events and decisions. The one person who I believe is most to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet is the one Romeo risked his life for, and she is none other than Juliet the Capulet. First of all, she is the most responsible for Romeo and her self's death because she took the potion that Friar Lawrence gave when there were many other options. The next reason is that she put too much trust in Friar Lawrence's plan to bring Romeo and Juliet together. The last reason I believe she was to blame was that she was the one that tricked Romeo into doing all these things for her in the first place. For all these reasons I believe Juliet was the leading cause in hers and Romeo's death.…
