How Did The Civil War End Slavery
The most important outcome of the Civil War was ending slavery. The reason to that is the war wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for slavery and it is bad in the first place. Slavery still effects their daily life in many ways. If slavery didn’t happen in the first place, we wouldn’t have had ever had the Civil War. The civil war killed the most people than any of the other wars just because African Americans were treated like property instead of normal people because of their color. Abraham Lincoln played a big part in slavery because he wanted to put an end to slavery, because of that thought we went to war. Right after the war ended, while Lincoln was in the president’s box at Ford’s theater the actor John Wilkes Booth slipped him in
the president’s box and shot him right in the back of the head.
Slavery is bad in the first place; people shouldn’t have to get treated like property instead of people. Just because they have a different color of skin doesn’t mean they they are any different than the other people. If you think that slavery isn’t the most important thing in the Civil war your wrong because the slavery is what started the civil war. Without slavery the war wouldn’t have started in the first place and the war wouldn’t have killed 750,000 people.
Slavery still affects us in everyday life, blacks still look back on those days and try to get revenge on whites today. Also, they think that African Americans still don’t have the same rights as we do but in reality they deserve to get treated the exact same. They still get called names and get treated poorly just because of their color.
Finally, if you think that slavery is not the biggest part in the civil war you wrong because without slavery the war wouldn’t have ever started. A lot of people had lost their life because of the war/slavery. The civil war wouldn’t have started if it wasn’t for slavery and hoe whites treated blacks.
