How Has The Revolutionary War Improved The Quality Of Life

In the aftermath of the American civil war, the slave's life changed for the better as they were granted their freedom. This is so for every war in history if we look at the revolutionary war and both world war 1 and world war 2.This means that every war improves the quality of life. The aftermath of war societies both winners/losers make our society richer,safer,and improved the quality of life. In every aftermath of every war it leads to better quality of life. When the Roman empire had their wars it had always led to mass increase of the quality of life in Rome.Ian Morris says, “From Roman conquests to World Wars, Morris noticed a pattern: War improved the quality of life for both winner and loser, gradually making societies safer and richer.”(Ian morris).Both winner and loser win which makes the societies safer.War also leads to wealthier economies in the aftermath.“As war leads to larger societies, it also leads to greater pacification and greater wealth.”(Ian Morris)

As human race increases its quality of life, the death and devastation of war decreases.
statistically speaking the death toll in war has been significantly decreased. As Seth Borenstein says, “The number of people killed in battle – calculated per 100,000 population – has dropped by 1,000-fold over the centuries as civilizations evolved. “. This makes it clear that humans have made it so that less people die in war. advancements in human society has also made war less devastating. for example the devastation of war is marginal to the people on earth . As Morris explains, “In the long view, Morris notes, the devastation caused by modern conflict appears marginal when compared to the number of people alive on Earth.” War is marginal in its devastation when it is compared to the number of people on
earth. Others might say that war isn’t necessary. It can be avoided no matter what the circumstances. All in all they say that war is preventable.well war in the circumstances is necessary. For example, when the Japanese attacked our country we had no choice but to declare war on them or we could have suffered another attack.Thomas Sowell says“Even World War II – which some have called “the good war” – was not something most Americans wanted. But the Japanese took that decision out of our hands when they bombed Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941”.War is necessary to protect our country and others. In the aftermath of war, it is clearly founded the quality of life increases by making society safer,richer and stronger. When Ian Morris looked at the Roman empire, he notice that after every war it made society richer and stronger.Therefore war is a good thing by the aftermath of war making societies richer and stronger.
