My dad, Jimmy Butler, Eric Berry, and Bo Jackson. My dad influences me because he is the most hardworking human being I know, and he would do anything for me. Jimmy Butler influences me because he has one of the most inspirational stories I have ever heard. Jimmy Butler was kicked out of his house in high school by his own mom and had to live on the streets. Luckily a family took him in during his senior year.…
I have had multiple influential people in my life, but I'm not going to say my parents or a great teacher, but rather someone closer to my age. Andrew Calton, a good friend and great influence. Andrew helped me “get back on my feet” when I was scared to kayak. I would stay on the lake and not go on rivers because I had no confidence in myself. Late at night he and Jack White, another good friend, came to my cabin at camp and told me there was a spot on a trip and he wanted me to go. I went on the trip and the fact that they wanted me to go boosted my confidence. We went on harder rivers I had never been on and I did not swim, or bail out of by boat once.…
A person who made an enormous impact on my life was my eighth grade math teacher. I'd had failed my seventh grade TAKS test and had to take a second math class for the year. I was extremely furious and disappointed that I had to take yet another math. I was and still am terrible at math, which just made the situation even worse. Within the first week, I kept failing my assignments, which was making my grade plummet. I came to my regular math teacher for help for my assignments to raise my grades. However, the way the teacher was explaining the math made absolutely no sense to me in any way. Fortunately, when I came to my TAKS math teacher for tutoring, the way he explained to me actually made things much more simpler in my work. Things started…
The person who has influenced me the most throughout my life is my dad Keith Coffey. He has influenced me the most because he has always shown perseverance no matter what comes his way. All throughout my life he taught me the importance of staying strong through tough times. Showing strength in my eyes is one of the most important traits a person can embrace. His admirable traits are what help shape me into the person I am today.…
The person that has influenced my life is my dad because he is the one that get to know me best and is also the one that I see the most and have known for a long time. He always stands by my side, and whenever I fall down, he encourages me to stand up by myself and on my own feet. My family is not a wealthy family. Therefore, my dad tries to save single penny he earns from work to buy anything that I need, and he always encourages me go to school because he knows that the value of education will determine the future of the person. As a result, I admire him as a great person and have thought that my dad is really superman. My dad has a huge impact on the way I become a person today. He has influenced my life by teaching me the lessons and showing me the right behaviors and wrong behaviors.…

In my life there are few people who I can say influenced my life. One of them is my grandmother. She was a very energetic woman, and even if she was over sixty her way of thinking was very youthful, and modern. She grew up in a village and in her 20`s she moved to our town. Therefore she knew some tricks for everything. Like for different illnesses which herbs we need to take or some very practical advice on anything. Also she was very special and always had a phrase for every occasion. These phrases were funny and so true, but the main thing was they were always positive. Just like her view on life. Her advice was always very simple but straight to the point. My grandma had a great love for classical music. She introduced me to some great piece of music. I remember when I was at her place we would sit outside on the balcony and listen to some of great music, these moments are the best moments of my life. So many times when I have trouble in my life I always think about her and our great time together, that makes me calm down and try to think the way she was thinking.…

It has taken me almost nineteen years to realize this but my mother, Allison, is the most influential person in my life. She has always been a hard worker. My mom is a very compassionate person and she has taught me that helping others is a major part of life. She is the type of person that knows the time to play and joke around and when to be focused and professional. Though my mom was married to my father, she raised me by herself most of the time. Doing this made our relationship stronger. My mother is a very inspiring person.…
