The Person Who Changed My Life
The person who has change my life
Who has been a influence to you? Mom, dad, or anyone in your life? Well, there always that someone or person who has or had influenced you or even changed your life during you past years in your life. My influence is my one and only father. My father has influenced me in so many ways that has actually changed my life. The main three ways were for me to keep on task, keep safe and stay out of drugs and, and mostly, to believe in yourself.
First of all, school is a hard thing to concentrate on. When homework gets too hard, my dad is always there to help me when I need the help the most on schoolwork or anything that I am having trouble with. This shows me that my dad is determined in me and wants me to move on in life with an education that he had to work very hard since he was a foreigner. He has determined me to do my hardest on my school so I can live my life happily.
However, people try to bring things that will not help you in life like drug, alcohol, or like trying to bring you into gangs. My father has kept me out of those things because those things can affect your life enormously. He also wishes me to keep out of danger’s way, so he does not have to see his son hurt or anything like that, so he does not let me out of the house so much. The main reason why he does not want me to go outside is that there is things than can happen out of nowhere like a shooting, drunk driving, or even a disaster that’s happening that you don’t even know like a robbery or something like that. Although, he does let me out at time when he thinks it is safe to go out and let have my have fun, but he wants to know where I am going and hat I am doing when I am outside having fun. This had me a more of a careful person of what I am doing and when I am doing something. This has also made realized that he wants me to have my fun, but yet also wants me to keep safe when I am doing something out of his watch.
Although my father is really inspiring

The people that has have influenced me the most are my parents. My parents are always there for me through thick and thin. They have taught me right from wrong and have guided me the right way throughout life. They have influenced me so much. Because of them I am a responsible young adult. I take responsibility for my own actions. They have taught me to care for others. There is a saying they used to always tell me. “Do to others as you would have them to do to you.” This saying is from the bible in chapter Luke 6:31. My parents have also greatly influenced my religious and political views, but I will not go into that. My parents also taught me to treat others equally because everyone has feelings and we are all the same on this inside. I don’t make fun of people or judge them by the way they look or how they act. They have also told me what not to do in life. For example, don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t do anything illegal. These things can most of time ruin your life. I am so glad they told and taught me about these things at a young age because if they didn’t I might not…

I have had multiple influential people in my life, but I'm not going to say my parents or a great teacher, but rather someone closer to my age. Andrew Calton, a good friend and great influence. Andrew helped me “get back on my feet” when I was scared to kayak. I would stay on the lake and not go on rivers because I had no confidence in myself. Late at night he and Jack White, another good friend, came to my cabin at camp and told me there was a spot on a trip and he wanted me to go. I went on the trip and the fact that they wanted me to go boosted my confidence. We went on harder rivers I had never been on and I did not swim, or bail out of by boat once.…

A person who has had a significant influence on me in my life would have to be my former foster mother, Miss Barbara Pratt. Ms. Pratt was a foster mother to many children before myself and she had had wonderful success with most of them. I had been in an extremely abusive relatives home before I had been placed in Ms. Pratt’s home. When it was discovered that I was in an abusive home I was first placed in a group home in Cincinnati. Social Services worked very hard to find me a home that would help me adjust to a ‘normal’ life as quickly and easily as possible. They found the home my older sister had been placed in, they contacted Ms. Pratt and I was placed in her care.…

Growing up, I was always a daddy’s girl. Then, I began to transition to relying on my mother more than father when I started to notice my dad’s absents. Due to away from home military work, my dad missed many milestones in my life like my first leading role play, the first time a rode a bike, and my middle school graduation. Eventually, I realized that my dad was sacrificing his time with his family and risking his life helping make a bigger difference in the world. I learned from the stress, prayers, and fear for my dad that I have to cherish every moment with the people I love. I view my dad as the definition of resilience. I cannot try to explain what my dad went through during his time overseas but he returned to his same ole’ happy, goofy self. My dad taught me that I need to be an independent woman and never to depend on anyone for my success. I will make my dad proud by becoming that educated, independent women, he hopes me to be.…

I believe that the one person that has the most influence in shaping my life is my grandmother. She has taught me how to be independent and courageous. Many people say that I am a lot like my grandmother because she and I both have very similar personalities and characteristics. A father’s advice is something that can’t be bought only taught to the youth through experience. I would always get upbraided for wanting to sit around the house and wait for something to come my way instead of working for it. My father would always kick me and brothers out of the house for the day during the summer, this was to get us to go do something with our friends and to get fresh air. I was starting to get the reasons behind his actions, he was attempting to get us to see that there is more to life than sitting inside playing video games and watching tv. Everyday I would be the first one out of the house to play basketball with my friends and to see what life had in stored for me. My father is what helped me get my head straight and assisted me in finding what I wanted to do in life. Even though dads can be strict they have a point and a reason behind everything, even yelling at you for your…
