How has community service impacted my life?
Community service has bettered me as a person and has gave me experiences I could have never had without volunteering in my community. My community gives me and everyone else in the community so much that it is my duty and everyone else’s in the community to give back. I have given back in many ways like picking up garbage, planting trees, volunteering at church, and helping with kids in classrooms. Giving back has lead me to become a better who is very grateful for all I have because it gave me a huge eye opener about how lucky I am for all I have and have been given. I am grateful for all the experiences I have had so far by volunteering. Helping my community has made me feel great about myself
and proud about myself as well. It gave me the confidence that I can do anything and change things that I want changed. Even if it’s as simple as picking up garbage it still is making a difference. The person I have become is due to my community service and seeing my family members serve the community. At school I always try to help out with anything I can to make my education and make my school a better place for everyone there. Community service impacts everyone’s life in some form. As princess Altona I would make a big part of my legacy giving back to the community that would have helped me receive the title of princess Altona and gave me the resources and opportunities that would have changed my life forever. I would make it my duty to give back as much as I could to the community that would have gave me a wonderful opportunity to better myself and the community.
